Job summary

Randstad Australia is seeking a driven Recruitment Specialist for the Trades & Labor desk in Canberra. You will manage a high-volume end-to-end recruitment process, sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates while nurturing client relationships and expanding our warm client portfolio.

You will balance market development with candidate sourcing, performing on-site visits and driving temp-to-perm outcomes to maximise long-term revenue and client retention.

Qualifications

• Full-cycle recruitment experience in high-volume or trades sectors.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and site managers.
• Strong pipeline management and candidate screening skills.
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable with fast-paced temp staffing.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates; conduct interviews and assessments.
• Manage client accounts; visit sites 2–5 times per week.
• Drive business development through cold calling and targeted outreach.
• Oversee temporary placement lifecycle and temp-to-perm conversions.
• Manage client portfolios and expand accounts with warm relationships.
