Job summary

Workforce Extensions in Brisbane, QLD is seeking an experienced Service Technician on a casual basis to join a leading power tools company. You will diagnose faults, repair power tools and ensure customers receive gear in excellent condition.

You will work in a professional workshop environment, testing equipment, recording repairs, and collaborating with a supportive team and supervisor to maintain high repair output and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing power tools or similar mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and fault-finding power tools and equipment.
• Repairing and servicing tools to manufacturer standards.
• Conducting functional and safety testing.
• Recording repair findings, labour and parts accurately.
• Identifying and reporting parts shortages or technical issues.
• Maintaining a strong daily repair output.
• Following technical procedures and safety requirements.
• Assisting with dispatch during busy periods.
• Working closely with the Supervisor and wider team.

Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour + super

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join a leading power tools organisation on a casual basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded technician with experience repairing power tools, mechanical equipment or similar products.

You will work in a professional workshop environment, diagnosing faults, completing repairs and testing equipment to ensure it is returned to customers in excellent working condition.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and fault-finding power tools and equipment
• Repairing and servicing tools to manufacturer standards
