Job summary

NLH Workforce is seeking a Junior Service Technician to join our team servicing sites across Brisbane and surrounding areas. You will be trained to inspect window and door installations, identify faults, and install security screens, locks and related hardware.

The role offers hands-on training, full-time Mon-Fri hours, and a casual to permanent pathway after 3-6 months based on performance, with paid travel and LAHA when overnight travel is required.

Qualifications

• You don’t need previous industry experience; full training is provided.
• Reliable transport and ability to travel between sites.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely.
• Safety-conscious and physically capable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aluminium window and door installations at sites across Brisbane and surrounds.
• Identify faults, defects and installation issues; service and rectify.
• Install security screens, locks and related hardware; complete quality checks.
• Safely use hand and power tools while working with customers and site teams.

About the role Working as part of an experienced team, you'll travel from site to site across Brisbane to:

• Inspect aluminium window and door installations
• Identify faults, defects and installation issues
• Service, adjust and rectify issues
• Install security screens, locks and related products
• Complete quality checks
• Safely use hand and power tools
• Work professionally with customers and site teams

What we're looking for

You don't need previous industry experience - full training is provided.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Practical and comfortable working with their hands
• Safety conscious and physically capable
• Comfortable working at different sites
• Able to use, or willing to learn, hand and power tools

Experience as atrade assistant, installer, maintenance worker, construction worker, labourer, technician or in manufacturing/assemblywill be highly regarded.
