Job summary

Metcash Limited's Tait Mitre 10 store in Tooronga is seeking an experienced Trade Sales Supervisor to manage day-to-day trade sales operations, drive customer service, and lead a diverse team.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the role covers rostering, workforce planning, inventory control, safety and staff development in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or department management within retail or hardware.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to develop team.
• Experience managing rosters, processes and inventory.
• Ability to balance customer service with operational priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building.
• Trade sales, hardware or building supplies experience desirable.
• Experience in transport or logistics and forklift licence highly regarded.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experiencedTrade Sales Supervisor to join our Tait Mitre 10 store in Tooronga.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store's trade sales operations. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for trade sales & operational performance, inventory management, workforce planning, transport operations, safety and team development.

Working with a diverse team, you will play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service, supporting operational performance and developing team capability.

This role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, supporting people and working in a fast‑paced trade environment.
