Job summary

Mitre 10 in Pambula is seeking an experienced Trade Supervisor to oversee day-to-day trade sales operations and the team. This full-time role involves rostering, inventory control, safety, and developing staff while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Trade team Manager, you will balance operational priorities with commercial outcomes and support recruitment and training of new team members.

Qualifications

• Retail, trade, hardware or building supplies supervisory experience.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to support and develop team members.
• Experience rostering, operational processes and inventory.
• Ability to balance customer service, operations and commercial outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Trade sales or building supplies experience desirable; transport/logistics experience helpful.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experiencedTrade Supervisor to join our store in Pambula.

Reporting to the Trade team Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the store's trade sales operations. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for trade sales & operational performance, inventory management, workforce planning, transport operations, safety and team development.

This is a full time role with some weekend rostering, for example, every other Saturday, but this is negotiable for a suitable candidate. Would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, supporting people and working in a fast-paced trade environment.

What you will be doing

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


• Trade sales, hardware or building supplies experience is desirable.


• Experience in transport or logistics and a forklift licence will be highly regarded.
