Job summary

Zagame Automotive Group is hiring a Trade Parts Advisor for our Tullamarine operation near Melbourne. The role involves interpreting orders, providing technical support to our customer network, and managing parts inventory to ensure smooth operations.

You will promote parts sales, aim for sales targets, and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Trade Certificate III in Parts is preferred, with automotive parts experience highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate III in Parts preferred, but not mandatory.
• Previous automotive parts experience highly regarded.
• Automotive paint/ consumable experience valued.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to sell over the phone and liaise effectively with customers.

About the Role:

• Interpret and process customer orders
• Provide technical support to our customer network
• Order, monitor and process parts inventory
• Promote parts sales and achieve sales targets
• Maintain and exceed industry benchmarks
• Develop new business and sustain current customers

About You:

• Trade Certificate III in Parts preferred, but not mandatory
• Previous Automotive Experience within the parts industry highly regarded
• Automotive Paint/Consumable experience valued
• Confident liaising and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to sell over the phone
• Competent in the use ofDealer Management Systems
• Accurate attention to detail, with a focus on overseeing and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ability to work within a team environment but also be self-motivated and pro-active.
