Job summary

Pickering Automotive Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a parts team member to join a six-brand operation (Mahindra, MG, Nissan, GWM, Fiat & GAC). You’ll train with our team and bring leadership to a large parts department, focusing on stock, margins, and customer relations.

We foster a proactive, autonomous work style and expect you to build strong partnerships with body shops and mechanics, helping the department grow within our GC market.

We're on the hunt for our newest parts team member. We've got six brands in our group and one BIG parts department. You'll be joining Pickering Automotive Group which covers, Mahindra, MG, Nissan and GWM, Fiat & GAC. These are some of the most progressive brands in the market and we'll train you and tool you up so that you're best in class.

Our new parts team member will have the opportunity to come in and launch this to new heights - make it their own - drive it forward with innovative ideas - build strong partnerships across the sector and show us that a parts department can become a truly progressive business within our group.

Of course, you'll need the goods:

Experience and demonstrated performance in a high-end parts department. You intimately know your stock, margins, customers and all else that goes with running a big parts shop.

You're positive and motivated. You'll genuinely want to drive this forward.

You've got to have the smarts around computer systems and data entry and your attention to detail will shame us all.

Leadership qualities and self-initiative will also be really important because you'll be working autonomously for the best part of the job and as you grow the business.

A true relationships person. You'll need to be the most liked in town! You'll be responsible for maintaining and building relations with body shops, mechanics and our nearest and dearest customers.

Reliable. You'll be relying on us to truly progress your career and we'll want you to return the favor by making sure we can count on you every single day.
