Job summary

Johnson Bros Mitre 10 Mona Vale is seeking a Trade Hand to support busy trade and retail yard operations. You will pick and pack customer orders, stack timber and building products, and help maintain safety and stock flow in a fast-paced yard.

The role requires a forklift license, physical fitness, and the ability to work well in a team. Prior forklift experience is preferred, and a reliable, hardworking attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.
• Forklift license required to operate forklifts in the yard.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar yard equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders.
• Stacking timber, concrete and/or garden products.
• Maintaining safety standards in the yard.

About the Role

As a Trade Hand, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our busy trade and retail yard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Stacking timber, concrete and/ or garden product
• Maintaining safety standards in the yard
• Loading and Unloading trucks
• Performing general yard duties as required
• Physically Fit
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work as part of a supportive team
• General knowledge of timber and building products
• A valid forklift license
• Previous experience operating a forklift or in a similar yard role preferred
