Job summary

Petries Group in Bathurst is looking for a full-time delivery crew member with an MR licence. You will load and deliver building materials across the region, assist customers in-store when required, and perform daily vehicle checks to keep the fleet in good order.

Qualifications

• MR licence (non-negotiable) and manual licence required.
• White Card is mandatory for site work.
• Forklift licence is a big advantage.
• HIAB experience is a bonus.
• Physically fit for heavy materials and a pre-employment medical is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver to sites, unload building materials regionally.
• Ensure loads are correct and arrive on time.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and keep trucks in good order.
• Assist customers in-store when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working safely and looking out for your mates - no shortcuts

• Loading, delivering to site & unloading building materials around the region

• Making sure loads are right and turn up where and when they should

• Daily checks on delivery vehicles - keep the truck in good order

• Jumping in to help customers in-store when needed

What You’ll Need

• MR licence (or above), non-negotiable. Also, our trucks are manuals so you must be able to drive a manual! If you can't you won't be able to do the job.

• White Card — you’ll be on job sites so this is a must

• Forklift licence is a big advantage

• HIAB experience is a bonus

• Physically fit — you’ll be handling heavy and bulky materials. This isn't a desk job.

• Complete a pre-employment medical to make sure you're fit for the role
