Job summary

Mitre 10 Reynella is looking for a hands-on Truck Driver / Trade Team Member to join the team. This dual-role combines local deliveries, trade yard duties and customer service, with time spent on the road and assisting tradies and customers at the trade counter.

You'll work in a busy hardware environment, using a forklift, handling timber and building materials, and helping keep the yard safe and organised. Flexible hours and full-time options are available to suit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Hold a current HR Truck Licence and Forklift Licence.
• White Card, Riggers Ticket and Hiab (truck crane) experience highly regarded.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Positive communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.
• Confidence using computers, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• A strong work ethic, proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
• Experience in the timber, hardware or building industry, or strong trade product knowledge (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers across the local area.
• Provide outstanding service to tradies and customers in the trade area and at the trade counter.
• Process customer transactions and prepare orders through the POS system.
• Pick, pack, load and unload orders using a forklift.
• Assist customers with timber, hardware and building material enquiries.
