Job summary

Total Tools Cairns North is seeking a Full Time Retail Sales Assistant with a real passion for tools and trades. This role offers hands-on product training in leading brands and benefits including staff discounts, onsite parking and an Employee Assistance Program.

You will join a growing team focused on customer service and sales. The role suits a motivated individual with strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers.

• Previous retail and/or trade experience is highly valued.

Total Tools Cairns Northis looking for aFull Time Retail Sales Assistant,who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

This position will suit a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service. Working with a variety of team members and customers, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid, long-term relationships.

What will you be doing?

• Greet customers in store
• Processing sales transactions
• Providing advice and information on products
• Supporting customer queries and offering solutions
• Maintaining store displays and ensuring a well-presented store
• Processing and maintaining customer orders
• Reach and exceed sales targets
• Provide a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OH&S guidelines, keeping areas clean and tidy

Hours of work:

Applicant must be available to work weekdays, weekends, some public holiday work and will be required to work as standard roster as outlined below.

• 10 Day fortnight roster
• 7:00am – 5:00pm weekdays
• 8:00am – 4:00pm Saturdays
• 9:00am – 2:00pm Sundays and public holidays
