Reece Group is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver at Waverley to support plumbers and tradespeople with product information, quotes, and stock handling. The role includes delivering goods using company vehicles and maintaining a safe, welcoming branch environment.

On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities to develop new skills and grow within the broader network. A positive attitude and readiness to learn are essential for success in this busy retail/trade setting.

Competenze

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a retail/trade environment.
• Clean, valid driver’s licence required; forklift licence is ideal but not essential.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service and information about products.
• Give quotes in person and over the phone.
• Handle pick packing and stock control tasks.

As part of the Branch Staff team at Waverley, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

Your day-to-day

• Providing customer service and information about products.
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone.
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment.
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
• Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives.

• We're looking for people with career potential and a growth mindset.
• Previous experience in customer service and enjoys helping people both in person and over the phone.
• Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learn new systems.
• Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential.
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our broader network or head office!
