Job summary

Reece Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver for the Waverley branch. You will assist plumbers and tradespeople, provide product information, quotes, and help keep the branch organized and stocked.

No industry experience? No problem. We offer on-the-job training, online learning, and opportunities to grow within the network, with a clear path from counter duties to delivery and broader roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and helping people in person or over the phone.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the branch network.
• Valid driver’s licence (clean) and comfortable with deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the trade counter and provide product information.
• Provide quotes in person and over the phone.
• Handle pick packing and stock control.
• Deliver products to customers using the company vehicle.
• Maintain a safe, organized branch environment.

About the opportunity

As part of the Branch Staff team at Waverley, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

Your day-to-day

• Providing customer service and information about products.
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone.
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment.
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
• Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives.

We’d love to hear from you

• We're looking for people with career potential and a growth mindset.
• Previous experience in customer service and enjoys helping people both in person and over the phone.
• Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learn new systems.
• Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential.
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our broader network or head office!
