Job summary

Reece Group in West Ryde is hiring a Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver to help plumbers and trades access the products they need for building and renovation projects, and to keep the branch running smoothly. No industry experience? No problem.

We offer paid on-the-job training, self-paced online learning, and ongoing courses to grow your skills. You’ll provide product information, quotes in person and over the phone, and make deliveries with a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Able to accurately pick orders and maintain displays.
• Willing to learn product knowledge and systems.
• Must hold a clean, valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers and tradespeople with product access and information.
• Provide quotes in person and over the phone.
• Undertake pick packing and stock control activities.
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
• Maintain a safe, organised branch environment.

As part of the Branch Staff team at West Ryde, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

• Previous experience in customer service and enjoys helping people both in person and over the phone.
• Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learn new systems.
• Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential.
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our broader network or head office!
