Job summary

Daikin Australia is recruiting a Trade Centre Supervisor for our Caringbah, NSW location to oversee daily Trade Centre operations and lead a small team.

You will drive sales, supervise customer service, manage administration and SAP data entry, and mentor staff while maintaining high standards and client relationships. This role reports to the Sales Manager – DTC and offers immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Data entry experience; SAP or similar system exposure is advantageous.
• Current NSW forklift licence (High Reach) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Trade Centre.
• Drive sales and customer service initiatives; liaise with Daikin customers and HVAC partners.
• Coordinate sales efforts with teammates and other departments to achieve targets.
• Ensure accurate and prompt SAP entry of sales orders.
• Provide reports on customer needs, issues and opportunities for business growth.
• Manage, train and mentor staff to maintain motivation and performance.

About the role

Daikin Trade Centre (DTC) at Daikin Australia supports existing and new trade customers in the Air Conditioning and accessories market. An exciting opportunity for a Trade Centre Supervisor is now available for a passionate individual looking to join the team based in our Daikin Trade Centre in Caringbah, NSW offering immediate start if available.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – DTC, this role is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations including sales, customer services, business development, staff management and administration of the Trade Centre.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to:

• Develop new sales opportunities for the DTC by liaising with Daikin customer base and others within the HVAC industry.
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments to achieve sales targets and outcomes.
• Ensure all administrative duties are carried out correctly, promptly and accurately.
• Prepare and capture sales order details accurately for entry into SAP
• Supply Management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potentially for new products and services.
• Manage, train and mentor staff members to ensure they are motivated to work.

About you

To be successful in your application for this role, we will be considering the following:

• HVAC product knowledge is highly regarded but not essential
• Data entry experience and exposure to SAP or a similar system will be advantageous.
• Current NSW forklift license is essential (High Reach).
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Professional and mature approach to working with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
