You will bring tertiary planning qualifications, build relationships across Council and the community, and provide specialist planning advice while managing multiple projects to tight deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary planning qualifications or a related tertiary qualification.
• Class C Driver's Licence is required.
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships within Council and with the community.
• Ability to provide specialist advice on planning matters.
• Strong time management to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Moderate strategic perspective to research, review, draft, develop and implement strategic studies, Local Environmental Plans and policies.
• Ability to assess Development Applications.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and WHS training.

About You

Selection criteria:

• Tertiary planning qualifications or tertiary qualification in an affiliated field to planning.
• Class C Drivers Licence.
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships within Council and in general community.
• Demonstrated ability to provide specialist advice on planning matters.
• Demonstrated time management skills to coordinate a number of consecutive projects and meet deadlines.
• Moderate strategic perspective to research, review, draft, develop and ability to implement strategic studies, Local Environmental Plans, Development Control Plans, policies and codes.
• Moderate skills to assess Development Applications.
• Motivation to undertake continued professional development to ensure that technical skills are up to date.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training.

The salary range being offeredfor this full-time position is $3,746.80 - $4,216.80 gross per fortnightplus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $97,416.80 - $109,636.80 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
