Job summary

Australian Venue Co is seeking an experienced Tournant Head Chef to lead across several venues south of the river in Perth. You will step in where needed, guiding teams to deliver great food and service across busy pubs and waterfront venues, with opportunities to move between venues.

You’ll manage staff, ensure quality and consistency, and drive improvements in kitchen operations while maintaining strong safety standards and a hands-on approach to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experienced Head Chef or senior kitchen leader with proven leadership in busy venues.
• Confident in leading teams and running busy services across multiple kitchens.
• Strong focus on food quality, safety, presentation and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chefs and kitchen teams across multiple venues.
• Step into leadership roles during peak periods or vacancies.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Lead services and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Coach and develop kitchen staff to improve performance.
• Assist with menu execution, prep, stock and organization.
• Uphold food safety and kitchen compliance standards.
