Job summary

Australian Venue Co in Perth is seeking an experienced Tournant Head Chef to lead across our South-of-the-River venues. You’ll step into different kitchens, teams and styles, taking ownership during busy periods to deliver great food and service.

You’ll coach and develop teams, safeguard food safety and standards, and help with menu execution, prep, stock and kitchen organisation. A hands-on, calm leader with strong organisational and communication skills will thrive in this varied, high-volume

**Your next kitchen adventure starts here.** We’re looking for an experienced Tournant Head Chef to join Australian Venue Co in Perth and bring their leadership, energy and kitchen expertise across some of our venues South of the River, including the Applecross area. This isn’t your typical Head Chef role. As a Tournant Head Chef, you’ll have the opportunity to work across different kitchens, teams and styles of operation -stepping in where your experience is needed and helping our venues deliver great food and great service. From busy pubs and waterfront venues to large-scale functions and high-volume services, no two days will look exactly the same. **What you'll be doing** * Supporting Head Chefs and kitchen teams across multiple venues* Stepping into leadership roles during leave, vacancies and periods of high demand* Maintaining strong food quality, presentation and consistency* Leading services and keeping the kitchen running smoothly* Coaching, supporting and developing kitchen teams* Helping venues with menu execution, prep, stock and kitchen organisation* Maintaining food safety and kitchen compliance standards* Bringing a positive, hands-on approach to every kitchen you work in* Helping identify opportunities to improve kitchen operations and team performance **What we're looking for**You'll be an experienced Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader who is confident stepping into different environments and getting stuck in.
