Job summary

St Mary Multicultural Early Learning Centre in Rhodes, NSW, is seeking a passionate Toddler Room Leader to guide a team of educators and deliver high-quality early childhood education for toddlers.

You will plan engaging programs, observe development, partner with families, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to professional development in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with toddlers in an early childhood setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of educators.
• Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan and implement engaging educational programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building positive relationships with families.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
• Working with Children Check and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs for toddlers.
• Supervise and guide a team of educators to create a nurturing, safe environment.
• Observe and document children's learning to inform curriculum planning.
• Build strong relationships with families and support each child's needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to improve practice.
