Job summary

Kids First Early Learning Centre – Zetland NSW is seeking an experienced Toddler Room Leader for our 2–3 year old room. You will lead a close-knit team in a boutique, nature-inspired service that values meaningful relationships and inquiry-based learning.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Completed National Child Safe Training.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the NQS, NQF and EYLF.
• Demonstrated experience in programming and planning for children aged 0–3 years.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
• Current Child Protection training.
• A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 2–3 year old learning environment with a small group of 8 children each day.
• Develop and implement engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports each child's development.
• Observe, document and plan for children’s learning in line with the EYLF.
• Contribute to a positive, professional and supportive team culture.
