Job summary

Only About Children Caringbah is seeking a confident Room Leader to guide a vibrant early learning room, build trusting relationships with families and lead a team of educators to deliver calm, engaging daily experiences. You'll lead curriculum delivery under EYLF, uphold child safety, mentor staff and collaborate with families to support children's development in a nurturing, well-organised environment.

This role offers leadership development, ongoing training and the chance to influence room

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher is required.
• Experience leading a room or team in an early childhood education setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, child safety and inclusive practice.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily rhythm of the room with calm, consistent routines.
• Plan, implement and evaluate programs aligned with EYLF and Grow Curriculum.
• Guide educators in intentional teaching, documentation and reflective practice.
• Maintain child safety, supervision, ratios, behaviour guidance and incident management.
• Build strong family partnerships and act as the key room contact.
• Mentor, coach and support educators, including onboarding and feedback.
• Contribute to campus quality initiatives, audits and meetings.
