Job summary

Only About Children Armadale is seeking a confident and organized Toddler Room Leader to guide learning, routines and educator support, ensuring calm days for children. You will lead programs aligned to children's interests, supervise staff, and foster strong family partnerships in a close-knit Armadale setting.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, leadership experience, and strong understanding of EYLF/NQF with current safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience leading a room or team.
• Understanding of EYLF, NQF, child safety and inclusive practice.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Confidence managing room priorities, families and quality expectations.
• Working with Children Check and relevant clearance.

Responsibilities

• Guide learning, routines, safety, and educator support to ensure calm, connected days.
• Shape rhythm of the day with clear expectations and responsive programs.
• Lead planning, documentation, reflection and daily practice with teams.
• Oversee supervision, ratios, room routines and child safety.
• Build partnerships with families and keep day communications respectful.
• Contribute to QIP, audits, Responsible Person shifts and quality outcomes.
