Only About Children Armadale is seeking a warm, capable Educator to join our team on a part-time basis, four days a week. You will guide children, nurture curiosity and help other educators grow through thoughtful practice in a safe, calm environment.

In this role you will strengthen the room, contribute to high-quality care and mentor less experienced staff. You’ll work within an inclusive setting that values play, learning, and partnership with families and the wider team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Four years' post-qualification experience at Qualified Educator level.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF, child development and inclusive practice.
• Skills in planning, documentation, observation and reflection.
• Warm communication and the ability to mentor others.
• Working with Children Check and relevant clearance.

Responsabilités

• Guide children and support other educators.
• Strengthen the room and mentor less experienced team members through calm, thoughtful practice.
• Use observations and reflection to understand what the child needs next.
• Build partnerships with families through clear and respectful communication.
• Contribute to reflection, QIP and continuous improvement.
