Job summary

Mitre 10 Cobram is seeking a capable Store Supervisor to lead day-to-day sales & operations in our trade department, deliver outstanding customer service and oversee rostering and workforce planning.

You will coach and develop a team, manage inventory and stock flow, promote safety, and contribute to recruitment and training. Experience in retail, hardware or building supplies is preferred, with forklift license a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing a department or store in retail, trade, hardware or related industry.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to develop team members.
• Experience managing rosters, operational processes and inventory.
• Ability to balance customer service, operations and commercial outcomes.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Trade sales or building supplies experience is desirable.
• Experience in transport or logistics is highly regarded.

• Manage the day-to-day sales & operations of the trade department
