Job summary

K&B Mitre 10 Reynella is seeking a reliable Trade Yard team member for a part-time role up to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some weekend work. This role could progress to full-time if you excel and can take on additional Duty Manager duties.

You will load/unload trucks, pick/pack orders, keep the yard tidy, and deliver top‑notch service to tradies and builders. Forklift licence preferred; training provided, strong team mindset, and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing goods and credits.
• Loading and unloading trucks with timber and building materials.

• Assisting tradies in the yard and processing orders efficiently.
• Picking and packing orders for delivery.
• Restocking and maintaining a clean, safe yard.
• Upholding safety and customer service standards daily.

K&B Mitre 10 Reynellais on the lookout for a reliable, energetic team player to join our Trade Yard team.

This is a part‑time role of up to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some potential weekend work. This role could progress to full‑time if the successful candidate proves they excel in the role and can take on additional Duty Manager duties.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and helping tradies and builders get what they need - fast! You'll be doing everything from picking and packing orders and loading trucks, to keeping the yard in top shape and delivering top‑notch service to our trade customers.

What you will be doing:

• Receiving incoming goods, processing invoices, and organising credits
• Loading and unloading trucks with timber and building materials
• Keeping stock organised and ensuring deliveries are accurate
• Helping tradies in the yard and getting their orders sorted quickly and efficiently
• Picking and packing orders for delivery
• Replenishing stock and keeping the yard clean and safe
• Putting safety and customer service front and centre every day

What you will bring:

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential (we’ll support the successful candidate with company‑funded training if required)
• A strong work ethic and a can‑do attitude
• Great communication skills and a team‑first mindset
• Timber and hardware knowledge is handy, but we'll teach you if you're keen to learn
• A sharp eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Previous supervisory experience is desirable
