Job summary

Thredbo is seeking a Lift Attendant to join the front line, helping guests safely access the mountain and enjoy Thredbo’s runs and trails. You’ll work outdoors across varying conditions and provide excellent customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude.

This role offers a flexible balance to enjoy the mountain life while contributing to a safe and efficient lifts operation and guest experience at Thredbo.

Qualifications

• Optimistic with a positive attitude and initiative.
• Physically able to perform job requirements, including standing, lifting and varying weather.
• Reliable and capable of handling pressure professionally.
• Intermediate mountain bike skills (desirable).
• Previous lift attendant experience (desirable).

Job description

This department keeps the fun spinning, literally! Thredbo’s lift gurus are front line when it comes to getting people safely up the mountain to enjoy Thredbo’s runs and trails. The Lift Operations team have one of the best 'office' views around and embrace the outdoors and the work that comes with it, in all of Mother Nature’s moods. If you want to work outdoors to help provide safe and efficient operation of our lifts whilst providing excellent and consistent levels of customer services, this is the job for you!

This role will provide a flexible work life balance to make sure you have time to enjoy the mountain.

Skills & Experience

• Optimistic with a positive attitude and loads of initiative.
• Physically able to safely perform the inherit requirements of this role, which may include standing for extended periods, lifting or carrying items and working in varying environmental conditions.
• Reliable and can handle pressure with professionalism.
• Intermediate mountain bike skills (desirable).
• Previous experience as a lift attendant (desirable).
