Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Thermal Energy Center Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.

The role supports preventive maintenance and ensures compliance with safety codes and client environmental conditions. Located in a role requiring on-site presence, the engineer will work within the CBRE Engineering and Technical Services function, with on-call rotation and a focus on energy management and system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of building engineering or related experience.
• Experience with HVAC/R, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
• Building Management Systems (BMS) / BAS is a plus.
• EPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical and control systems.
• Ensure facility and building systems meet applicable standards and safety codes.
• Maintain an energy management program and efficient operation of systems.
• Support preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
