Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Senior Engineer to perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment across facilities.

The role requires expertise in building operations, life safety, and energy management to minimize operating costs and ensure safety. The position involves supervising contractors, maintaining documentation, and using work order systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and eight or more years experience in electrical systems, refrigeration and/or HVAC.
• Universal CFC certification required. Additional certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.
• Oversees outside contractors and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintains energy management programs to optimize operating costs and efficiency.
• Proficient with work order systems and basic office software; responds to emergencies and customer concerns.
