The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is seeking a dedicated case manager to join a multidisciplinary team in a therapeutic court setting. You will deliver non-adversarial, recovery‑oriented case management to support participants.

Working with participants facing mental health issues, AOD, homelessness or family violence, you will help stabilise lives and progress toward meaningful goals, building long-term therapeutic relationships with voluntary participants up to 12 months prior to

Qualifications

• Diploma level qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience in forensic, family violence, AOD, homelessness and/or mental health settings preferred.
• Strong client-centered and evidence-based approach.

Responsabilités

• Deliver complex case management using a holistic and collaborative approach.
• Provide expert advice to the Magistrate and multidisciplinary team in court.
• Support participants with mental illness, cognitive impairment, AOD, homelessness and family violence to stabilise their circumstances and achieve goals.
• Build long-term therapeutic relationships with voluntary participants up to 12 months prior to sentencing.
