Job summary

Court Services Victoria is seeking a dedicated ARC case manager to support participants in multidisciplinary court environments. You will deliver complex, client-centred case management with a strengths-based approach and provide expert advice to the Magistrate and team.

The role emphasises engagement with participants experiencing mental illness, AOD, homelessness or family violence, and involves building therapeutic relationships over up to 12 months prior to sentencing in a court setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced case management skills with client-centred, strengths-based and solution-focused approach.
• Ability to motivate and support positive change in challenging cases.
• Experience collaborating with judiciary, legal professionals and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex case management using a holistic and collaborative approach.
• Attend court regularly to provide expert advice to the Magistrate and multidisciplinary team.
• Work with participants experiencing mental illness, AOD, homelessness, family violence and limited social supports.
• Develop long-term therapeutic relationships with voluntary, non-mandated participants for up to 12 months prior to sentencing.
