The Magistrates' Court of Victoria seeks a qualified case manager to join a multidisciplinary team, including a magistrate, lawyer, police and support persons. The ARC provides non-adversarial hearings to review progress, and you will deliver complex case management using a holistic, collaborative approach.

This role offers short-term case management for bail clients with complex needs and longer-term support for those in ARC; you will work with voluntary, non-mandated clients up to 12 months

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications (Diploma level highly desirable) and/or relevant case management experience in forensic, family violence, AOD, homelessness and/or mental health.
• Experience coaching and mentoring case managers in advanced knowledge areas.
• Ability to work with judiciary, legal professionals and court staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide complex case management support to participants in CISP and ARC using a strengths-based, client-centred approach.
• Attend court monthly to provide expert advice to the Magistrate and multidisciplinary team.
• Support participants on bail with diverse needs, progressing toward stable outcomes.
