Job summary

Red Hawk Resort + Casino in New South Wales seeks a professional dealer to manage the assigned games, handle player transactions, and maintain a polished, professional service.

The role requires strong game integrity, knowledge of gaming laws, and the ability to resolve disputes while upholding department standards. Training will be provided to learn new games and promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Proven dealer experience, or having passed an audition on the assigned game(s).
• Basic knowledge of casino policies & procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Protects and controls the specific game assigned.
• Conducts the games per policies, handling transactions and reporting irregularities.
• Advises the Floor Person or Pit Manager of player disputes.
• Informs Floor Supervisor of important facts about players.
• Maintain a professional, friendly atmosphere per ACT standards.
• Notify a Floor Person of guest needs (drinks, host service, etc.).
• Promotes department and property-wide promotions.
• Learn new games with provided training.
• Keeps up to date with gaming laws and internal controls.
• Meet department standards for game pace with accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Protects and controls specific game assigned.
• Conducts the games in accordance with policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any irregularities.
• Advises the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
• Informs the Floor Supervisor or other more senior Table Games personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
• Utilize ACT standards at all times while maintaining a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere.
• Notify a Floor Person of any guest needs; i.e., cocktails, host service, etc.
• Keeps abreast of, and promotes departmental and property-wide promotions.
• Responsible to learn new games when provided appropriate training.
• Maintains current knowledge of gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Meeting the department standards for game pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven dealer experience, or having successfully passed an audition on the assigned game(s) required.
• Basic knowledge of all casino and departmental policies & procedures required.\
  
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
