Base pay range

A$80.00/hr - A$90.00/hr

• $700 + super
• North Sydney (50% on-site)
• Initial 6 month contract

We are looking for a Test Lead with SME knowledge and experience within the insurance and financial services sectors.

About the Role

• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for hands-on test activities across the insurance domain.
• Working with the Project Lead responsible for the product to integrate the testing plans into the overall Project and Quality Plan.
• Co-ordination of daily test execution and reassigning fixed defects for retest.
• Perform accurate and timely reporting of status and progress against baseline schedule as well as test plans to Project Leader/Manager with action plans to address any issues/concerns.
• Co-ordinate and provide static test results for project documentation.
• Manage & maintain best practice for the testing within the team and influence the definition of best practice through team experience and feedback.
• Communicate plans, status, issues and concerns through the appropriate management system.

About You

• Must have extensive experience within the insurance sector.
• Experience leading and guiding senior insurance testers.
• Ideally you'll have some experience with test tools commonly used within the insurance domain e.g. Guidewide, Mulesoft, Duck Creek etc.
• Must be willing to work on-site in North Sydney 2-3 days per week.
