Job summary

Moon Recruitment is recruiting for a Test Lead role based in Geelong for an urgent Victorian Government Agency contract. The position requires leading end-to-end testing across the stream, while contributing to test planning, design, execution, and defect management.

Immediate start with a contract through to January 2027. You will collaborate with Programme Test Management, development and IT teams, automation groups and vendors to ensure testing aligns with the Programme Test Strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure and security testing experience.
• Experience with security platforms; Check Point CloudGuard preferred.
• MuleSoft or Boomi integration testing experience.
• Proven API testing experience covering planning, execution and validation.
• Experience leading testing across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong defect management and triage experience.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and sprint planning.
• Collaborates with Automation Teams on regression coverage.
• Exposure to Enterprise Infrastructure WIC and service virtualisation.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing activities across the stream, while also contributing practically to test planning, design, execution, defect management and delivery.

About You

We are looking for a Test Lead who combines strong leadership capability with a practical, hands-on testing approach.

You will ideally have:

• Strong Infrastructure and Security testing experience and knowledge.
• Experience with security platforms and upgrade initiatives; exposure to Check Point CloudGuard would be highly regarded.
• Strong MuleSoft or Boomi integration testing experience.
• Proven API testing experience covering planning, execution and validation.
• Experience leading testing across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong defect management, triage and resolution experience.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Experience participating in Sprint Planning and Backlog Refinement.
• Experience working with Automation Teams on regression coverage.
• Exposure to Enterprise Infrastructure WIC and service virtualisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and delivery teams.
