Job summary

Bullivants is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, maintain, and service our equipment onsite in Mount Isa and regional sites. The role includes full training, travel to customer sites, and a path to grow technical skills within a supportive team.

You’ll be out in the field, building relationships with customers, and representing Bullivants professionally on every site visit. A positive, proactive mindset and good communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Onsite field service experience preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on role.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite inspections and servicing of equipment.
• Assist with installation of height safety systems.
• Support maintenance, repairs and servicing across Bullivants products.
• Build relationships with customers and represent Bullivants professionally.
• Travel across the Mount Isa region to customer sites.

Job description

As a Field Service Technician (FST), you'll be the face of Bullivants, working directly with customers onsite to inspect, maintain, and service our products and equipment.

About the Role

• Conduct onsite and offsite inspections of equipment (including testing and tagging)
• Assist with the inspection and installation of height safety systems
• Support routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment and products
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at every interaction
• Represent Bullivants in a professional manner on our customer sites

What we are looking for

• A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others
• Comfort working in a hands-on, physically active role and outdoors in varying conditions
• Clear communication skills - verbal and written

Previous experience in trade support, warehousing, construction, or a technical environment is beneficial but not essential for success in this role.
