Job summary

Pacific Optics Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a dynamic Territory Manager (Tourism, Gift & Pharmacy) to grow key accounts across tourism, gift and pharmacy sectors in the NSW Sydney region. This is a full-time role based in Sydney, serving as the vital link between Pacific Optics and customers to drive revenue and satisfaction.

You will develop territory strategy, build relationships, visit customers, negotiate contracts and deliver regular sales reports.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in account and relationship management within the tourism, gift or pharmacy sectors.
• Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to team objectives.
• Sound business acumen and understanding of key financial metrics such as margin, volume and return on investment.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout Queensland.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Preference for candidates with established connections within the Sydney tourism, gift or pharmacy industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets across the tourism, gift and pharmacy sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers whilst identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs, provide product demonstrations and ensure product availability and merchandising standards
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers, ensuring profitability whilst remaining competitive
• Manage customer accounts effectively, including order processing, delivery coordination and resolving any issues or complaints promptly
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify emerging trends and inform product development and marketing strategies
• Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts and territory performance analysis to management
• Support customers with product knowledge, training and promotional materials to maximise their selling potential
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless customer service and operational excellence
