Responsibilities

• Achieve annual revenue goals for Brisbane South territory (incl. Gold Coast to Ballina) for the Ophthalmology portfolio.
• Provide prospective customers with accurate information and prepare quotations.
• Manage inventory and CRM activities; verify customer payment status with accounts.
• Coordinate delivery of shipments and provide in‑service training to customers and users.
• Inform customers about service and maintenance programs and provide ongoing application support.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND MANAGE

• This Surgical Ophthalmology Product Specialist role will manage the achievement of annual revenue goals for sales of a Brisbane South territory, including the Gold Coast down to Ballina, and will be responsible for the sales and support of a Surgical Ophthalmology product portfolio.
• The position will provide prospective customers with accurate information and sensible solutions, which best address their needs and you will prepare quotations.
• The role will manage and account for assigned inventory and enter all sales activities into a CRM system, while verifying customer payment status with accounts.
• You will coordinate delivery of shipments with customers and provide thorough in-service training to each customer and user of your products.
• You will inform customers of the availability of service and maintenance programs and provide ongoing application support and first level technical assistance.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• University degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Medical device sales experience in a similar role, including providing surgical case support, ophthalmology experience a distinct advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organisational skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills with the ability to develop and make corporate level presentations.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license in Qld and full Australian working rights.
