Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Sheffield Group is seeking a Territory Manager to own Central and North Queensland, field-based and customer-facing. You’ll drive growth, build relationships with distributors, wholesale and trade customers, and pursue new business opportunities while representing Sheffield’s brands in-market.
The role requires regular travel across the territory, strong networking, and disciplined territory planning, with support from national sales leadership and the wider Sheffield team.
We’re looking for a Territory Manager who knows how to get in-market, build proper commercial relationships, and turn opportunity into growth.
So we’re clear, this is not a role for someone who thinks growth will happen while sitting behind a desk. You’ll be field-based, customer-facing, and expected to be visible across your territory — Central / North Queensland — with regular customer visits, occasional overnight travel and interstate travel when required for sales meetings, training and connection with the broader Sheffield team.
You’ll be looking after distributor, wholesale and trade customers, while actively chasing new business opportunities and strengthening Sheffield’s market presence across the territory.
Sheffield Group is a fourth-generation, family-owned business with big ambition and a product range that genuinely matters to the trade, construction, industrial and retail markets.
Across brands including Alpha, Sterling, Bristol, Action and Union, we supply cutting, drilling, hand tool and power tool accessory solutions built to make the lives of tradespeople easier.
We’re growing, we’re commercially sharp, and we care deeply about the way we do business. We don’t do corporate theatre. We do high standards, good people, strong relationships, and products we’re proud to put our name behind.
You’ll grow the territory and deliver results. For Sheffield, and for our customers. Simple as that.
You’ll be the go-to person for customers across the territory — visible, reliable and easy to deal with.
You will:
You’re probably already in B2B sales, account management, territory management or business development, ideally around tools, hardware, industrial, building products, trade, wholesale or distributor channels.
You don’t need to know everything about our products on day one, but you do need to be commercially switched on, credible with customers, and hungry to learn.
You are:
Helpful, but not all essential:
You’ll be joining a business with momentum, strong brands, and real expectations.
The good stuff:
We’re not looking for someone who wants to hide behind a laptop and send a few follow-up emails.
We’re looking for someone who gets in front of customers, builds trust, spots opportunity, closes business and keeps showing up.
If you’re a commercially sharp sales professional who wants a territory to own and a business with real growth behind it, we’d like to hear from you.
