Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a driven Territory Manager to own the Central West territory from Bathurst, covering Dubbo, Forbes, Orange and Mudgee and promote sustainable waste and recycling solutions. You will build strong customer relationships and spot growth opportunities in a highly autonomous role.

Based in Bathurst, you’ll plan travel, manage pipelines in Salesforce and work with local operations to support clients while delivering results in a dynamic regional market.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through face-to-face prospecting across the territory.

• Maintain accurate activity in Salesforce and schedule pipeline activity.
• Promote Cleanaway's sustainable waste and recycling solutions with operations teams.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a driven and experienced Territory Manager to take ownership of the Central West territory. Based in Bathurst, the territory extends across Dubbo, Forbes, Orange and Mudgee, giving you the opportunity to build a strong local presence across a diverse regional market.

As the face of Cleanaway in your territory, you’ll be out in the field building strong, lasting customer relationships, spotting growth opportunities, and introducing innovative, sustainability-focused services to both new and existing clients. This is a highly autonomous role where strong planning and follow-through will be key to success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Generate new business through face-to-face prospecting, including direct outreach to businesses across the territory.
• Use internal sales tools to identify leads, build a quality pipeline and convert new opportunities.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships, including retention, renewals and identifying further opportunities.
• Plan travel and customer follow-up effectively, maintaining a regular rhythm across this large geographical territory.
• Maintain accurate lead, opportunity and customer activity in Salesforce system and plan ahead for upcoming sales activity.
• Promote Cleanaway's suite of sustainable waste and recycling solutions while working closely with local operational teams to support customers.

About You

You’re commercially sharp, competitive by nature and motivated by closing deals. You know how to manage rejection, build rapport quickly and keep momentum high.

You’ll also bring:
