Job summary

Stamford Plaza Brisbane, part of Stamford Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a passionate Teppanyaki-trained kitchen professional for a full-time role. You will join Kabuki Teppanyaki Restaurant in Brisbane’s premium hotel setting, delivering dynamic teppanyaki experiences and exceptional service.

The role requires teppanyaki experience or a strong willingness to learn, ability to work varied shifts, and adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in teppanyaki or willingness to learn this culinary style.
• Demonstrates flexibility and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have and/or be willing to obtain Food Safety Handling Certificate (SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present Teppanyaki dishes with flair to guests.
• Deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual who:

• Has experience in teppanyaki or a strong willingness to learn this exciting culinary style.
• Demonstrates flexibility and is available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Holds legal working rights in Australia or a current Visa
• Thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Must have Food Safety Handling Certificate (from either unit SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006) or willing to obtain
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• A commitment to highest levels of customer service
• Knows how to interact with the customers, and likes to show off their Tepan cooking skills
• Take pride in personal appearance & presentation
