Job summary

Stamford Plaza Brisbane, part of Stamford Hotels & Resorts, is seeking Food and Beverage attendants on a casual basis to deliver 5-star service across LaBoca, In Room Dining, and Banquets.

You will attend to guest needs, take orders, and serve beverages and meals with professionalism. Prior F&B experience in a luxury hotel, RSA and Food Safety certificates, and Australian work rights are required, with shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage/Bar in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Organised, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while remaining calm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to build relationships.
• Bartending experience is desirable.
• Must have RSA and Food Safety Handling certificates.
• Must have legal rights to work in Australia.

About the role

We are currently seeking Food and Beverage champions to join our outlets including LaBoca, our In Room Dining Service and Banquets on a casual basis. All our Food & Beverage Attendants are responsible for providing 5 Star customer service to our guests. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Supervisors, you will be responsible for ensuring all guests receive an exceptional restaurant experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain high levels of customer service.


• Attend to all guest needs in a polite and cheerful manner.


• Experience is preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests would be beneficial.


• Work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.


• Take food and beverage orders accurately.


• Deliver food and drinks in an efficient and confident manner.

What We need from you:

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage/ Bar attending in a 5-star Hotel environment


• Be organised and have an eye for detail


• Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while constantly maintaining a calm demeanour


• Ability to build strong customer relationships


• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


• Previous experience in bartending is desirable


• Must have RSA Certificate


• Must have Food Safety Handling Certificate (from either unit SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006)


• Must have legal rights to work in Australia
