Job summary

Ventia is seeking an experienced Telepower Design Supervisor to lead a design team on major telepower projects in Queensland. The role is based in Stapylton and offers hybrid work arrangements with a long-term, stable assignment alongside Telstra delivery partners.

You will oversee technical leadership, project delivery, and key client relationships while guiding a team of designers and coordinators to ensure timely, compliant design output across the Telstra network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design teams in telecom/telepower.
• Electrical engineering qualification or electrical trade background.
• Strong telepower design and project delivery knowledge.
• Proven stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate work across designers and coordinators.
• Act as escalation point for telepower design activities.
• Review and approve high-quality design documentation.
• Liaise with clients and delivery partners; provide regional reporting.
• Monitor schedules, workloads and design performance to meet targets.

About The Role

As the Telepower Design Supervisor, you'll provide technical leadership, oversee project delivery and manage a design team supporting telepower works across the Telstra network. Additionally, you'll:

• Lead, mentor and allocate work across a team of designers and project coordinators
• Act as the key technical escalation point for telepower design activities
• Review, approve and oversee the delivery of high quality design documentation
• Liaise with clients and delivery partners while providing regional reporting
• Monitor project schedules, workloads and design performance to meet delivery targets
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and design delivery
