Job summary

MCE Communications in Windsor, NSW is seeking a Telecommunications Technician or Apprentice for a full-time role. You will perform fibre optic installations, rod and rope works, telecommunication cabling and fit-off across residential and commercial projects, with travel to NSW job sites.

A company work vehicle is provided for travel. Depending on experience, you may be hired as a qualified technician or start as an apprentice.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license required.
• ACMA Open Cabling Registration with endorsements for qualified applicants.
• Willingness to learn and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Fibre optic installations.
• Rod and rope works and cable hauling.
• Telecommunications cabling and fit-off.
• New housing estate and apartment development installations.
• Fault finding, repairs and service work.
• Working alongside experienced technicians on larger projects.
• Learning and working across a broad range of telecommunications systems and technologies.
