Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Telecom Datacom Sales Manager to drive growth across distributor and contractor channels. You will develop strategies, manage the pipeline from opportunity to delivery, and collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, and product teams to bring innovative solutions to market.

You will lead tender and project management, execute pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while traveling as required. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, or similar field.
• 5 to 10 years of managerial experience in business development.
• Strong understanding of the Telecom sector and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Drive for results with focus on business acumen and customer satisfaction.
• Commitment to self-development and continuous improvement.
• Good Excel skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to grow the Telecom Datacom channel through distributors and direct sales to major contractors.
• Maintain close contact with customer base to ensure strong long-term relationships.
• Develop short and mid-term plans to achieve sales and margin targets.
• Set product mix, sales area, and customer service standards to meet objectives.
• Implement pricing policies and strategies approved by the Pricing Manager.
• Analyze market trends and opportunities to win tenders and projects.
• Manage opportunity pipeline from planning to execution.
• Collaborate across production, logistics, engineering and product teams to deliver value.
