Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Telecom Datacom Sales Manager in Australia to drive growth across distributors and major contractors. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage pipelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative telecom solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5–10 years of managerial experience in business development, a strong telecom market understanding, and excellent negotiation and relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in business, economics, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of managerial experience in business development.
• Strong understanding of the telecom sector and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Results-driven with strong business acumen and customer satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to grow the Telecom Datacom channel through distributors and direct sales to major contractors.
• Maintain close contact with the customer base to secure long-term relationships with major customers.
• Set short- and mid-term plans to achieve sales and margin targets, including product mix, sales area, and customer service standards.
• Analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and devise winning strategies for tenders and projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, and product development to ensure timely supply of products.
