Job summary

Kraken in Melbourne is seeking an ambitious TechOps Generalist to scale our APAC TechOps as we push towards a cloud-first future. You’ll own hands-on 1st-3rd line support, manage identity, devices, SaaS, networking, and office infrastructure, and partner with Security and Engineering to balance reliability, security and user experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT/TechOps or systems-focused role experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows/macOS and device management.
• Experience providing 1st–3rd line support in a distributed setup.
• Comfort in ambiguous environments and prioritisation across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support across the business
• Own and deliver TechOps work across identity, devices, SaaS, networking, and office infrastructure
• Collaborate with the TechOps Lead to balance reactive support with proactive improvements
• Contribute to projects improving security, reliability, and scalability
• Design, improve, and automate systems to reduce manual effort and risk
• Coordinate with Security and Engineering to balance security, productivity and UX
• Support offices in Melbourne and Japan with potential APAC expansion
• Identify recurring problems and build long-term solutions
