Job summary

AC3 Australia is seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist to join the Specialist Services team. You will manage operational support for cloud platforms, primarily Windows and Linux, to maintain high availability, security, and performance for our enterprise and government customers.

You will diagnose incidents, coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve problems, implement automation where possible, and apply best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years cloud experience, preferably with Linux engineering background.
• Experience with AWS and Azure using ServiceNow.
• Scripting or automation skills (BigFix or similar) are a plus.

The Cloud Operations Specialists Team ensure the stability, security, and performance of customer environments by proactively managing technical issues, minimizing risks, and maintaining high availability. Specializing in Windows, Linux, and Cloud technologies, you provide expert operational support to keep critical systems running smoothly. Your role is vital in delivering a seamless customer experience through technical excellence, collaboration, and a commitment to service reliability.

What You Bring

This role sits within the Specialist Services team where you are responsible for managing operational support for systems, applications, and cloud platforms. You will work closely with our customers, as well as internal teams to resolve incidents, manage problems, and enhance service delivery. You will use your expertise to troubleshoot complex issues, keep systems running smoothly, and make sure our processes follow best practices to provide a high quality customer experience. You will have at least 3 years Cloud experience and preferably a background with Linux Engineering for the past 5+ years. You will have AWS & Azure experience using Service Now. Any scripting, Big Fix or automation skills are great to have also.
