Job summary

Greencross Pet Wellness Company in Australia seeks a General Manager Technology Operations to lead a team of approximately 28 technology professionals across infrastructure services, service management and site deployment, supporting over 7,000 staff in 350+ locations.

Reporting to the CTO, you will drive a zero-touch service transformation with AIOps, automation, and predictive analytics, build vendor partnerships, and foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• 12+ years in technology operations, infrastructure or service delivery roles with senior leadership experience
• Proven track record managing large-scale operations across multiple locations
• Experience with Microsoft enterprise platforms, Azure, M365, identity and access models
• Hands-on IT leadership in retail technology operations and multi-site infra
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, SRE, AIOps and automation
• Monitoring/observability tools experience and proactive service management
• Security, business continuity, disaster recovery awareness
• Ability to collaborate with cyber security for integrated practices

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology operations strategy aligned with growth
• Lead a team of ~28 technology professionals across infrastructure, service management and deployment
• Advance zero-touch service transformation using AIOps, automation, and predictive analytics
• Build strategic vendor partnerships and manage MSPs and offshore delivery
• Coach and develop leaders, cultivating accountability and continuous improvement
• Provide architectural and operational leadership for Azure-hosted and SaaS estate
• Set service level standards for enterprise infrastructure, apps, and networks
• Represent technology operations in executive forums and governance meetings
