Job summary

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is seeking a commercially focused People & Technology Commercial Officer to join our team for 12 months in Parramatta, with hybrid work arrangements.

You will support financial management, procurement, contract administration and vendor governance across software, hardware and services, delivering compliant, value-for-money outcomes. This role suits analytical professionals who collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, commercial services, finance, contract administration or vendor management.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and governance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with budgeting, forecasting or financial reporting experience.
• Experience supporting contracts, supplier agreements or software licences.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor technology expenditure and support cost analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate procurement activities for software, hardware and professional services.
• Review procurement documentation and ensure compliance with CSPD policies and processes.
• Raise purchase requisitions and coordinate invoice receipting.
• Administer technology contracts, licences and supplier agreements.
• Maintain accurate contract and procurement records.
• Interpret and communicate contract terms, obligations and requirements.
• Identify commercial risks and support contract compliance.
• Contribute to vendor performance and supplier relationship management.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement and contract management practices.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders, technology teams and suppliers.
