Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced field technician to maintain and repair heavy equipment on-site in Townsville. You will perform troubleshooting, repairs and routine servicing to ensure safety and reliability for customers, working primarily on-site with minimal supervision.

Job description

As part of our Site Support team, you'll become an indispensable asset to our customers, committed to delivering excellence every step of the way as you ensure our equipment operates safely and efficiently on-site.

In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing Komatsu's heavy equipment and other machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and operational reliability.

Roster:

7:7 roster, 12-hour shifts, primarily day shifts with occasional night shifts.

Annualised salary

Competitive Salary + Tool of Trade Vehicle + Overtime + Field Service Allowance

Role Located:

Townsville (Collinsville & Bowen Basin)

• Mobile plant trade certificate or equivalent
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining Komatsu equipment
• Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
• Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in remote areas
• Valid MR Class Driver’s Licence desirable
